No idea what happened to this fish's eye, but it was oozing blood continuously and appeared completely deflated. It appeared to have been that way for a while, though I can't say exactly why I got that impression. It fought well and swam away strongly, so I hope the loss of an eye won't impact its ability to feed--especially since it's not a sight feeder.
