The "digs"--One of the ponds with it's de-icer air blower housed in a livewell in the foreground, the indoor facility in the background. SUNY Brockport, NY. I have 2 males and 3 females per pond, 2 ponds. One pond is turbid, devoid of SAV, and a degree or two warmer (this one), the other is chocked with coonstail, crystal clear, a wide margin of submerged cattail, and generally colder.
