The LED strips have adhesive backing, but have some epoxy dribbled over the strips as well, insurance to keep them in place. The strips are fed power from both ends, as the resistance in the strips makes a difference in light output if fed from just one end.
Total cost for this lighting solution: about $4.00 in parts, about 2 hours to assemble.
LEDs - $3.00 worth (generic 5630 LEDs, via eBay)
Power supply - $1.00 (12v, 2 amps, via thrift store)
