100% sure NOT sunfish fry... I would think its a blacknose dace fry.
ya i would think that too, but i haven't seen any in this river...its a big river...i do see common shiners everywhere...so far Ive only seen commons and redbreasts and fallfish.

i was under the impression blacknose were in fast clear streams....this is a slow rocky silty river.

They are black nosed dace.

That is their preferred habitat but I've seen them in lakes and even ponds so being in a river wouldn't surprise me much. The fry do look like blacknose dace to me as well.
