Awesome Gar, I'm super jealous. What size tank do you have him in? I've been wanting a Gar tank for a while now.

Thanks for the nice comments!
I got the Shortnose Gar from Tropical Fish Distributors. Everything else I captured last year with a dip net; the two sunnies and a brown bullhead. I had an american eel, but he finally found a way to escape a couple months back. The gar's around 6" maybe 7" long though. He's in a 55 gallon until he outgrows it.
