All collected from a lake at a local college.

The pickerals(2) were very small. The mudminnow(eastern?) looked at everything like it was its next meal.

lovely pics...but uh oh on the blackbanded and the bluespotted...they are protected in that state =; pleaseeee remove the chain pickerel before he kills all those fish. im looking to get blackbandeds and id hate to see it killed :unsure:

Nice Pickerel just make sure he doesn't eat anyone else. Yes, that is an eastern Mudminnow. (I think)

yeah it is an eastern mudminnow, exactly how do you "make sure" a fish doesnt eat something else? lol. pickerels will east ANYTHING that moves is a tank. there isnt a maybe or probably not...it will.

They are feisty little buggers. Quite literally built for killing other fish, but still quite delicate as well. There really is no way of having it not eat the other critters except to give him his own tank.

I think the Pickerel us a Chain Pickerel too. (Although not an expert)
