For some strange reason, I have been unable to interact with forum message boards like this one. I often can't even log in, but when I can, I can't make any posts.

This is Trey, better known around here as Mysteryman. I finally had to just give up on my Mysteryman account and make this new one, and for awhile it looked like this new one wasn't going to work either. Actually, I don't even know if THIS one does, since this is my first attempt at making a post under this new name. I guess we'll see together. well, here goes...

The new style of forums rely heavily on javascript. Are you blocking JS from running or have an ad-block program that may be doing so?

IT may also be your browser i use to use mozzila and they had a update that blocked forum posts from my older pc system

That's a good point. It's useful to have multiple internet browsers so that you have the option of opening a page in a different browser if something doesn't work. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome are some examples of internet browsers. If you go to google and type in "Get Firefox" (or whatever new browser you want), you will be directed to the webpage that should download that browser on your computer. It usually takes less than 5 minutes for the whole process to be done, installation and everything.

Most of this trouble started when Firefox updated. I switched to Opera, but that only barely helps. I've found a pattern:
When I log onto a forum, I can make ONE post. After that, I'm locked out and have to start all over again, and often that doesn't work either. This is my first post attempt of the day here, so my guess is that it will go through, and then nothing else will.
I've got six browsers going on two harddrives, and I still can't get much done.

So are you saying it is happening with all browsers? And do they still work on other websites after making a post on the forum?

Yes, it is happening with all browsers, on both harddrives. I can usually switch browsers between forums to get in one post at each, but it doesn't always work. Weird, eh? It's driving me crazy.

Maybe run a program like CCleaner? And let it clear out all your temporary files, cache, and other junk.

CrapCleaner - probably won't help. Malwarebytes Antimalware, perhaps,. There is always the nuclear option. I use it every couple of years.

What firewall are you using and what risk setting do you have on your e-mail client.
