September 18 and 19, 2010 for those who plan ahead.

If you watch the video, you will see Brant Fisher wearing his shocker. Brant confirmed with me he intends to have a display and shocker demonstrations there again this year. Brant is Indiana's only non-game aquatic life biologist and some of us know him from NANFA events.

Last year was the first time for this event and I thought it was very good. I went both days and still did not see everything I wanted. Lots of outdoor related stuff, but check the site out for details.

If anyone plans to go, let me know and maybe we can hook up.

Hopefully I am posting this correctly and in the proper location.

Brant is a great guy too. I did some work with him studying mussel populations across Indiana years ago.

Brant sent me the following message last night. Still lots to do at the free event for nature lovers but it does not appear Brant will be there.

Chuck,

Just as a heads up - it looks like I actually won't be a having a station at this year's Hoosier Outdoor Experience - they tweaked some things from last year, and unfortunately I got tweaked out. I may be making a re-appearance at future HOE events...

Hope you are doing well - and take care.

Brant
