I kind of expected he was going by his behavior lately.
He was 2.5 inches when I got him.
I thought he was around 7 or a little less now, but he was apparently a bit bigger.
I thought those of you that have not seen these guys, especially a pic of a large adult, might be interested in seeing him up close (even if deceased). The blue color to his eyes are probably because I didn't find him floating until awhile after he was dead. He was already stiff so I couldn't even stretch him out.
Well my old checkered madtom died :(

Those are neat looking fish, it's a shame it died. It lived an awfully long time though, I guess good care really does help.
