I'll call foul if by the end this picture series there isn't a picture of a Mudpuppy. I am assisting next week in a population survey for them but we are doing the seining and flipping rocks technique.
As for the bass. That is crazy. How big are the entrance holes to the trap? Was it baited or did the fish just wander in?

Thanks for the Mudpuppy pic. I was out assisting in a survey the yesterday and we ended up finding 23 Mudpuppies, including the largest ever found in Ohio around 14".
