I do not have a saltwater tank yet, but i recently learned something interesting. Some fish have their young take shelter in tidepools and some intertidal fish can be found their. When I was a kid I went on a couple school fieldtrips to look at tidepools, but all we saw were crabs, shrimp, snails, and mussels.

But this article mentions lumpfish, grubby, and gunnels in them. http://www.jstor.org/pss/3858238

A pitty I do not feel ready for saltwater yet (and do not have a chiller) as I like the look of lumpfish. Plus what other fish can you do this with.
