i went to mohican last week with my girlfriend her brother and myself to do some collecting and hiking. as for the darter pics i was using an led spotlight to light them up for pictures since it was 1 o clock in the morning
anyway there some other pics from the trip to mohican as well. the river isnt where i caught the rainbows, but i did catch a banded darter there and saw some others that i couldnt catch.
some species not pictured are brook silversides, blacknose dace, small and large mouth bass, red horse, and mottled sculpins.
threw in some pics of some interesting fungus we found walking off the beaten path through the hills, thought they were pretty cool.

Well not fish but i like fungi too.
2 down is Old Man of the Woods. An edible bolete.
2nd to last is a Poison Pigskin. An unedible Puffball. When split apary, inside is a purplish black. Edible Puffballs are white.
Last is a red Russula. Not edible. Green ones are, sometimes called Quiltbacks.
The others i would have to check on. The purple may be a Blewit.
The orange on the log... hum.
Nice pics.
Nice Rainbows. Excellent aquarium darter.
