Golly Martin, thanks for noticing.
We've been working behind the scenes to make several changes that might have gone unnoticed.
Great thanks to Drew for putting the new forums up and logically compressing much of the forum for ease on navigation.
We're taking baby steps toward change and welcome input. If you have suggestions for change, please PM or email forum staff with your suggestions.

I quite like that. Someone should write some 'basic fish keeping' articles for new guys to put in there.
"Native fish keeping 101" by Gerald Pottern is right at the top and pinned. All people new to the hobby should be encouraged to read it.
We will however, fill out the FAQ's (frequently asked questions) in time. That should help reinforce the new subforum.
