G'day folks

I just thought I'd let you know that the supply of rooms at Longstreet is almost gone, thus if you haven't booked, try it asap. When I called today they said that there were still a number of rooms, but some nights may have sold out possibly. Make sure you use the confirmation code 68535.

So there are other room options available, but they are a bit further away. One option is the Amargosa Hotel and Opera House, http://www.amargosa-opera-house.com/ It is probably 6-8 miles further out than Longstreet (which is around 7 miles from the refuge headquarters). The other options are all in Pahrump, which is around 25 minutes away, here is the link to what google found. http://maps.google.c...ved=0CC0QtQMwAA

I would not under any circumstances delay in booking as many of these places will fill up on the weekend. If you do get stuck, please let me know as someone else may be willing to share for a night. Folks may be able to bring spare camping gear too if we know in advance.

Thanks
Peter

So there are still some rooms at Longstreet, but you'll have to change rooms half way through your stay. I'm not sure if they'll give you the discount rate on all nights or not (I forgot to ask them that). Do not delay in booking a room though no matter where you plan to stay as the Fri-Sat nights will likely eventually fill up at all the local hotels.

Cheers
Peter

I just made reservations at Longstreet. All the $40 discounted rooms are booked. Only suites with one king size bed ($91/night) are available for Thursday night. Another big group is coming that weekend and they have taken the rest of the cheaper rooms.

So, if anyone has reservations for Longstreet Casino and Inn (with the NANFA discount) and cannot make it to the conference, please contact me as I will gladly take over your reservation.
