Man, a list like that from one creek? I've gotta get myself onto the west side of the Appalachians here soon...

Ha. Better than that, one spot one creek, and only a 6 foot seine. This is a particularly diverse creek. 98 species of fish if I recall correctly. This fish list is not at all difficult to achieve in this stream.
Yeah, no camera, I leave the fish pictures up to the pros nowadays. I will have to get Uland into this stream, next time he is nearby.
I am really going to have to take some time soon, and start to learn mussels. My boys were very interested in them, of course my younger son, mostly just wants to eat one. If it moves, he wants to eat it.

I was down in the Darby a couple week ago for a work meeting. Unfortunately we only got to sein for about 1/2 hour but we ended up with:

Grass Pickerel
Central Stoneroller
Silver Shiner
Striped (Common?) Shiner
Hornyhead Chub
Redhorse (sp ?)
Northern Hog Sucker
Brook Silverside
Rock Bass
Longear Sunfish
Bluegill
Green Sunfish
Longperch
Johnny Darter
Greenside Darter
Tippecanoe Darter
Bluebreast Darter

Probably forgetting a few others.

It is an awesome stream. I need to get back to it.
