All i can think of is that the fish got stressed out and died, I moved him, my red spott and a tadpole madtom into a 35 gal rubber made garbage can (it was new, i had filled it and let the water sit in it 12 hours before putting tank water and fish in it) anyway the next day it was dead, the maddtom and red spot were fine though.
