Here is a challenge for you though it may not completely fit this forums topic. Any of you think you can ID this crawdad? I will not say the habitat or waterbody in which it was caught as that would give away its ID as it has no similar species that occur with it. It was caught in Rye NH during the bioblitz.

Sure, you're somewhere along Rye Beach and I know there's no fresh water streams right there. There are some really good clam shacks nearby which also argue in favor of lobster...

grab some butter and a tiny bib. Mmmm.... We'd need a pic of the dorsal view to accurately id it as well as what river & state it was caught.
