These were caught on the coast of British Columbia, perhaps an hour north of Vancouver. I'm a bit out of my element when it comes to identifying fishes of the Pacific. Any ideas?
(Given my freshwater roots, this looks like a blackened golden shiner with a elongated dorsal fin to me - obviously it isn't)
Some sort of sea robin?
and just for the halibut:
Any left coasters out there?

hey Dave,
The top fish looks like a surfperch, possibly just a dark shiner surfperch (Cymatogaster aggregata), but I'm at home and don't have appropriate books here. Middle fish is a staghorn sculpin (Leptocottus armatus). The flatfish will require a bit more sleuthing... but off the top of my head could be a bothid.
