Hi,
I got the error message "[#10171] You do not have permission to view this attachment" when I tried to view an image on my Elassoma gilberti topic while not logged in.
Is that supposed to be there? I thought the public was supposed to be able to view our forums?

I think the confusion is the definition of 'public'. No, people who are not logged in cannot see all of the forum pictures. However, anyone can (for free) join the forum, and then see most of the content (some areas are for members only... meaning NANFA members).
Solution to this would be for you to host all of your photos in the gallery... I beleive that everyone can see the gallery. From there you can add the photos to your post (without actually loading them again into the forum... see other threads on this topic).
