THE FISH GUYS

When JR Shute and Pat Rakes go fishing, they’re not looking for bass or trout. They use very small nets to collect madtoms, and diamond darters, some of the minnow-size fish that are on the verge of extinction. They have 600 tanks full of imperiled fish. The fish that Pat and JR are working with, will never make the headlines, but they are key players in a freshwater eco-system, that can ill-afford to lose anything else.
