Yep thats a War mouth. Caught 2 this past year on rod at ariver not far. Theyre a wild fish. The one we caught were to big for the tank. would like to get some smaller ones. if anybody now where to catch them in N.C. by Mooresville please let me know...Not a hybrid at all, its a definitly a warmouth

A given warmouth can rapidly change the intensity of its color and pattern, in response to turbidity, lighting, cover, mood, etc. If you keep one in a tank you'll get to see this firsthand.
Nathan is spot on with this - the chameleon of sunfishes as they say.

I think you got the wrong Mike, I never traded with anyone to get a warmouth. I can get all I need, and also I never traded with you, as I don't even know who you are.
Mike
