hey all just got home and the middle brace on my 125 is broken.just wandering if i should take it down or if it will be ok anyone ever have a problem with this?

Can you see any bowing in your tank? If so, immediately drain it about halfway and put a new frame or makeshift brace on pronto. I think some tanks are built in such a way that the brace is necessary for integrity, while on others it is just for added security.

ok i went and got a clamp. now the question is can this brace be fixed say with crazy glue or something stronger?

What I would do is get a piece of material about the length of the brace, and glue the pieces to that, instead of gluing the broken ends back together. That way you get a much larger, stronger glued surface.

As newt said i would find other material to glue to but for kicks and giggles i would drill a hole in each end and but a small bolt and nut fo added protection. That way it does not move or flex.

ok i think im gonna replace the top frame but i cant seem to find anywhere that sells them does anyone know where i might find one?

Contact the manufacturer to see if you can order a replacement.

I've gotten my local petshop to order them for me. It helps to know the tank manufacturer, as the different makers have slightly different dimensions on their frames.

If its not creating problem now, it can create problem soon so its better to replace it.
