I am from New Hampshire. I am glad to see another New Englander here.

Glad to see there are so many New Englanders here (nothing against the rest of you) as that is where my native passion lies and in the fish of New England :-)

I just joined, and also live in Maine. I've been keeping fish for since I was a kid, but just got into natives a year or so ago when I started reading these forums. I figured it's time to say hello. Go Maine fishes!

Welcome to the Forum. You at least have some interesting shiners, even if you're too far northeast for darters.

The southern part of the state has swamp darters. Not common here, though.

Yeah, you're right, they do get as far north as York County, but are rated as S1, critically imperiled by The Nature Conservancy rankings.
