Join the Southeastern Wisconsin Native Fish Club and Sweet Water Organics for a Tour of Sweet Water's Aquaponics Facility!
At noon on Sunday, January 16th we will tour the facility where Sweet Water Organics raises tilapia and Yellow Perch and uses their waste water to grow herbs and vegetables. Sweet Waterís sustainable aquaponics system was inspired by Will Allenís three-tiered, bio-intensive, simulated wetland. Check out Sweet Water's website at: http://sweetwater-organic.com. This should be a great tour!
The meeting site is Sweet Water's facility at: 2151 S. Robinson Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53207.
The cost of the event is $5.00 per person, payable on the day of the tour. We ask that you please register with us so that we have an idea of how many people will be coming. After the tour, we will be retiring to a local restaurant for the Native Fish Club meeting and some socialization.
