I'm gathering some additional speakers for the convention. If anyone is planning on attending and would like to speak, please PM me and we'll try to set something up. Or if you know of someone that you think should present, please let me know as well.

We have a couple of speakers from the VDGIF to talk about the status and involvement of the Department in mussel propagation and VA brook trout. Brian Z has offered to speak about the work he is doing in OH. We are working on a couple of authors but I don't want to jinx anything.
I'm working on a couple other leads to get university professors or students to discuss some of the projects being worked on in the region.
Basically I'm trying to see if there are folks within the organization that would like to share any of the projects/research that they are involved in.

That's a good approach. It's good too to ask folks to bring posters that they have put together on research stuff as long as there is somewhere to put them up (which most hotels have).
