Breaking news! My pickerel have spawned again!     They are in my 150 with the other fish.I was able to collect about 50 to 60 eggs. Their were many more but the sunfish were having a feast :(  .I only have 1 fry left from the last batch and it is about 1 3/4 inch.I will be setting up another tank to raise these new ones.Well I will keep you all updated.

Cool. Were those lighting or temperature conditions changed anytime recently?

They haven't been changed since Feb. when I increased both. Then the temp went from 55 to about 60 t0 65.and the lighting was 10 to 12 hours. I have recently backed the lighting down to 10 hours because I was getting some algae. This is the second time they have spawned in two months.

I have two pickerel fry on from each spawn. I would have had about 12 but one fry that was slightly larger than it's tank mates that I did't think was large enough to do any harm. Well proved me wrong.I now know that next time I will need about 5 fry grow out tanks. To separate them by size. The two remaining fry are about 2 1/2 and 3  inches long. They are eating small minnow and worms.

Five tanks is kind of intense.  You could use something like this:  http://www.swisstropicals.com/Web%20pictures%20600%20dpi/Poret/Poret%20divider%201.JPG  a vertical sponge tank divider, putting each fry in its own partition.  It would allow water flow, but wouldn't allow them to eat one another.
