I just recieved my winter copy also.....good work guys, I loved the whole edition.....very sad about the Sacramento Splittail, I used to fish the Sacramento river near Sacramento and never saw one.

I looked over and reread parts of the new American Currents yesterday. Thanks to Brian and Chris for getting the issue out. This is Chris V's first issue and is getting tuned up. His next assemblage will be the Nevada issue which i am working on with picture selection and caption writing to compliment the condensed blog account of my and Fritz's Nevada writings.

I also want to note and thank Todd, Lance, Bryce and Jeremy for the color pictures they shared with the readers on page 14. I cant recall at this moment who took which photos and we had a lot! It was a very fine time, fish, friends, fun and food.

I enjoyed Eric H., Dr. Philip W., and Dr. Goldstein's articles and still need to read the riffles and of the Sacramento Splittail.

As an active member if you have something to share, an experience, a trip, a review, pass it on the editor for a possible inclusion in an upcoming issue.

Great job Chris, the issue looks great, hopefully the first of many issues from you!

Don't discount Dr. Eric H. there. I agree with Casper and everyone else that this was a great issue and promising start for our new editor. Please keep the articles, news bits, photos, reviews, and anything else you think might be appropriate coming in. This makes the editor's job much easier. Thanks Chris.

i got it 4-28-11 in the mail when i got home you gotta love snail mail right.
it is good to see the AC publication up and running again.
quick ? were pre press proofs pulled on the PS and/or EPS files of the ripped data
before the final file was sent dtp on the center spread
maybe i have a press proof before final press run was approved
for the set run time and sent to bindery to be cut and saddle stitched.
