Has anyone here had success breeding bluefin killies and golden topminnows? I've been playing with them for @ a year and find that these two fish together in a water garden are a deadly combination for mosquito larva. WAY better than the highly invasive so called "mosquito fish" or pot gut minnows.

I have never messed much with BFKs and find that for some reason they don't do very well for me... but others certainly have...

On the other hand, I have had no problem at all breeding golden topminnows (F. Chrysotus)... I mean just as a hobby thing not in volume or anything... and I agree... topminnows are the real mosquito fish of North America... not 'the fish that shall not be named'
