So, now that I've got this brand new 75 gallon tank for my fish room, I want to start thinking about how to stock it long term. I have 3 large shiners (2 are a little less than, I don't know, about 5 inches, and the other is around 3-4) that I would like to put in there. My main idea was for it to house some sunfish like Pumpkinseeds and maybe a bullhead and some Yellow Perch in addition to the Shiners. I was wondering how many of each species would be a good number or if you think you know of a better stocking list. Also, would My Crappie be able to make it an aquarium like that?

I do not believe a bullhead would be a good fit for a 75 gallon. There was that post not to long ago of a 15" one that couldn't turn well around in a 125 gallon tank. I hope to eventually get another 125 gallon tank to keep some sunfish again (gave my original 125 to my brother to use and now I have no big tanks to be using.)

I know, I actually have a pond for it to go in when it gets too big, but it'll probably be more than a year before he gets too big for a 75, right? (Not that I won't have the pond ready, the improvements should be done by late June - early July)I do not believe a bullhead would be a good fit for a 75 gallon.
