I work for an On-the-Water-Education company in Washington, DC. On our trips, we run a trawl net in the Potomac and Anacostia Rivers. My native fish knowledge base is fairly strong, however, my invert knowledge is weak at best. We trawl up a lot of Elliptio complanata, of late we have been trawling up the mussel pictured below. Any thoughts? I have a small shell from one left on the boat I can grab on Monday to take some better pictures, but this is what I have right now.

Please contact me via PM. It is a tidewater mucket (Leptodea ochracea).
