Was a great looking fish, hope i can find another once when i figure out what it is.

It looks more like killifish than a darter (though seeing the dorsal fin would make me know for sure, looks way too elongated to be a bluespotted sunny and has a very killi feel to it), not sure what kind.

It does look alot like a banded killi male in spawning colors. I tried to search online for maryland killi species but couldn't find much more info other than banded and mummichog.

It's a mummichog, Fundulus heteroclitus. It's probably the most common fish in the area it was caught.
