Hi guys,

I recently acquired 7 Least Killies. They are currently housed in a planted 20 gallon long. They don't seem to be coming up to feed during feeding time. I'm currently giving them Ken's Crumbles and crushed fish flakes. I did some googling and it says they are not picky eaters but will take brine shrimp and daphnia. I don't have those but do have an order of microworms coming in very soon.

What are your experiences with these guys? Suggestions?

Thanks.

Feed very small amounts till they get hungry and settled in. They will generally eat flake food immediately. They will eat soon unless sick.

I used to feed mine a mix of algae flakes and earthworm flakes. I feed a lot of live blackworms to my other fish and they enjoyed those as a treat.

Thanks. I also figured they were just getting used to their new environment but I wanted a second opinion from the experts :). I don't want to lose any of these guys. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite fish. I love their hovering/darting behavior.
