Hello All
I have a question; I am looking for a good book about N-american fishes and than espescially Elassoma evergladei which are finally available in the Netherlands, I them bought yesterday.
Do you recommand American aquarium fishes as well ?.

Regards,

Casper Mazurel, Netherlands

For aquarium care information, yes, Goldstein's American Aquarium Fishes is a good one. For more natural history, habitat, ecology, and identification info, then get one (or several) of the various state "Fishes of xxx" books such as Boschung & Mayden's Fishes of Alabama, Etnier & Starnes' Fishes of Tennessee, or Rohde's Fishes of South Carolina. Jenkins' Fishes of Virginia is also excellent but there's no Elassoma in that state.

Hello Gerald,

I received today the book North American Aquariumfishes from Goldstein, Harper and Edwards, beautiful book, I got it just about a week after ordering it. Lots of reading fun.

Regards,

Casper
