Speakers Needed for NANFA Conference in Greensboro NC June 7-10:

NANFA (North American Native Fishes Association) includes a mix of
amateur and professional naturalists, aquarium hobbyists, anglers,
educators, and agency biologists interested in North American fishes,
invertebrates, plants, and other aquatic life. We are seeking speakers
for our June 7-10, 2007 conference at Guilford College in Greensboro
NC. Talks should be no longer than 30 minutes, focusing on natural
history, behavior, ecology & speciation, habitat conservation, fish
watching & collecting, and aquarium care & breeding, for an audience
with mixed levels of scientific background. (Biochemical & genetic
studies and game fish management are of less interest). Speakers will
be on Friday June 8. Poster presentations are also welcome. Saturday
and Sunday will be all-day field trips to a variety of NC collecting
locations; field trip leaders are also needed. See www.nanfa.org
<http://www.nanfa.org> or _http://forum.nanfa.org/index.php_ Please
send a brief description of your proposed talk to fritz.rohde @ ncmail.net.
