Does anyone know of any good articles on catchability? Secondly, I vaguely recall a fisheries biologist telling me about an experiment that was done in which they had a pond stocked, opened it to public fishing but asked the anglers to put all their fish in another(empty) pond. Soon the catch rates almost fell to zero in the first pond even though there were still many fish in it because those fish were less likely to be caught. Can anyone identify this or give me some info on it?
