Hello Everyone! My name is Tony and I am from East Tennessee and recently gave up keeping tropical fish and started new adventures in keeping native species of darters and bluegills and absolutely love it.I have wanted to do so for a very long time and finally decided to just do it. I see a wealth of information and knowledge on here and hope to learn and maybe contribute as well!

Welcome Tony. You are in a great area, being in TN, and near KY and VA. My suggestion is browse the forum as there is a lot of knowledge here. Second suggestion is to read the TN laws carefully, as they recently changed.

Tony...
Being you are in Kingsport i would urge you to visit Bay Mountain City Park and ask for Ranger Bob. He is the naturalist there and is involved with NANFA and native fish, in fact he has several aquariums on display there.
