There isn't a graph or anything but we've been keeping track. It is upwards of 200.

We apparently reached a new high but with the issues with AC, our numbers dropped. We seem to be headed back in the right direction so...

There are members who are only members because of AC. There are a lot of members that joined via the forum and see AC as a bonus. There are members because they just want to contribute to our mission.

The NANFA membership will always fluctuate because different folks view what NANFA does differently. Some people joined expecting AC and when it was delayed they never rejoined. I don't blame them.

And yes, there is the politics. But we won't get into those details...

I'm here for the forum. I've been a member for a year now and have gotten one issue of American Currents. So I guess it's good that I'm here for the forum. :D

Sorry. We are working hard to rectify that.

Surely Erica has recieved more than a single issue of American Currents, her being a member of NANFA for a full year?
I feel certain she should have at least 3 issues.
The recent Nevada issue, Chris Vrba editor. Spring 2011. White River Springfish on the cover.
The previous Winter 2011 issue with the Blotchside Loggie on the cover. Both Chris V and Brian T as the editors.
And the Fall issue before that... i dont have a copy in front of me and cannot recall what was on the cover. Brian Torreano, editor. Brian also did 2 more previous issues.

I know that both Brian and now Chris Vrba have worked very hard at bringing American Currents out in a timely fashion. The membership and BoD needs to supply our editor with material. A new issue is currently in the works including an article about Conservation Fisheries, CFI. We all have to assist our new editor, Chris Vrba in his efforts.

To be fair, I've spent this past year in four different residences. Oh the life of a college student. So it's possible things were sent to me that I didn't receive. That's one of the reasons I'm in favor of a pdf edition; my e-mail is the one way you can always contact me.

But like I said, I'm here for the forum, so even if I got zero issues I'd stay a NANFA member.

Edit: I am also interested in a graph of membership, if one exists.

I was about to ask if you've kept Tom informed of your address changes. I'm sure you should have at least 2. One just came out so you may be missing that. If you want, I can send you any copies you may be missing.

Also, the BoD is in discussions regarding an electronic edition. It is in the early stages of discussion but I'd expect we'll see it happening soon.

Personally, a graph or two would be nice to see on an annual basis when the financial report is also issued.
