Hello,

I understand that according to "North Carolina General Statutes § 113-169.3 Licenses for fish dealers" (link: http://law.onecle.co.../113-169.3.html ), in order to sell fish I need a license. But where do I go to buy that license? I can't find instructions online and don't know who to ask. When I google North Carolina license it keeps taking me to driver's license webpages.

I am asking because I plan to breed up my Elassoma gilberti and sell them on aquabid. Which may not even happen, I'm kind of counting my chickens before they hatch so to say, but I'd prefer to know how to buy a license if I do end up getting fry. Help?

This license would not apply to you. It is from the NC Division of Marine Fisheries and applies only to saltwater species under their jurisdiction. I will check around and see what I can find.
