1. How do you get rid of those nasty yellow spot parasites on bullheads? Is there a medication from a LFS that I could use? How do I do that and what is it?

and:

2. Can different species of bullheads interbreed? I ask because I heard that channel catfish and black bullheads can mate with each other.

Thanks

I am sure that bullheads can interbreed, they are closely related, after all. Yet I have never actually heard of any occurences.

Everybody is so busy looking for sunfish hybrids that the poor bullheads get ignored.

Ok, but about those yellow grub parasites... How do you treat an infected fish? I ask because my firend has a pond choc full of the little buggers (Yellow or Black? Maybe a few Channel Cats?) and they are infested with it. I want to know how and what to do and what to use to get rid of them on an individual fish. Also, I found out that flathead cats, blue cats, and channel cats can all interbreed to produce sterile 'mules' that are popular in fish farming. Cool huh?
