Hello,
I'm a new forum member living in Lebanon PA. I kept tropicals in my youth and had a small largemouth bass in high school, but have been away from aquariums for a long time. I stubled across this site looking for information on the legality of keeping bait fish at home. Of course this forum lead me to think about trying to keep a few bluegill or pumkinseeds or maybe something bigger. Now, much to my wife's chagrin, I have yet another interest that I don't have time or money for ;) ;)

Hopefully she will give in and let me get a tank ;)

Welcome to the forum! I would have to reccomend looking into getting fish from Brian Zimmerman if you want to buy fish. His website is here: http://zimmermansfish.com/Price.html. However, if you can legally collect your own fish fish, I would highly reccomend it. Your state regulations here: http://forum.nanfa.o...-pennsylvania/.

Yes, welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll find a lot of information here on whatever kind of native fish you decide to keep, and if you don't find the info. your looking for in past discussions here, feel free to post a question.

I too enjoy keeping large fish like lepomis and even Micropterus (bass). Unfortunately I have to limit myself to just one bass due to food intake and space.

Again, welcome to the forum and good luck on getting a tank.

Steve

Welcome. You might consider attending a meeting of the Aquarium Club of Lancaster County. They meet at That Fish Place on Centerville Road. There are few members who have an interest in natives. You may find someone to collect with. I think that their next meeting is tomorrow.

Welcome to the forums. Luckily my wife likes the fish and assorted critters I bring home for the most part. She's not thrilled by the multiple tanks I'm setting up and I'm always pushing for another tank.

Multiple Tank Syndrome is badddd! (MTS) LOL..

Welcome to the forum. I hope you are able to find what you are looking to keep and can legally keep them!

A new PA member. Cool. If you want to come to western PA to collect, drop me a note. The same applies to anyone else.
