Anyone want to take a shot at this who is familiar with their Enneacanthus species?
I caught it a few months ago. It was approximately an inch long. This is the best picture I have. I released it back into the pond where I caught it from after the picture was taken. Sorry about the fuzzy picture.
Banded or blue spotted sunfish?

It is difficult to be 100% positive but this appears to be a bluespot.

I'm also leaning towards bluespot but am not certain.

I would agree with it being a bluespot

Any particular reason why you guys think its a bluespot?
Also does anyone have a picture of a small banded they could post for comparison?

Bandeds should have a more bluntly curved forehead and a more conspicuous opercular spot. They should also have more prominent and more closely spaced banding.
