Scud nano tank

I have set up a 2.5g planted nano tank for pet scuds. It seems the baby fish that were in it did not eat all the blackworms. There also seem to be many (micro?)worms in the tank now too. I am wondering if scuds will eat these? I don't care to have all these worms in this tank. I would put in a couple of small fish, but they will eat the small scuds. Collecting the worms for feeding to my fish seems like a difficult task.

Many people have reported scuds eating their worms. Might as well use the worms for fish food while they last though, if you have some fry or a new fish that could take advantage of it.

I cant help but am curious about your setup. Can you describe it?

'micro'worms is a name that refers to the food worm populations that people grow in culture to feed baby fish. They are not aquatic. You've got some other species of worm. If you can describe them more or post a picture of them (difficult, I know), maybe some of the worm experts here can identify them for you. If your seeing tiny worms on the glass, most of those are nematodes and are harmless. If you have a microscope, take a peek, some of them are cool looking. Good pickin's for baby fish. I used to bring samples from my moms tank for my 7th grade microbiology class.

I cant help but am curious about your setup. Can you describe it?

2.5g igwami style planted with dwarf hair grass.

Well I do have a bunch of E. evergladei fry I think I will add to the tank when they get big enough to see better. Think I will check them out with magnifying glass. Do not have microscope.

I see. Well I am short on time. Still need to post pics of my pygmy killi tank. Get to it some day.
