wow I would never have guessed those red and green sculpins are the same species. Is that plant Zostera, and have you been successful growing it? And what's the other little green fish (in pic with the red Oligocottus)?

The other little green guy is a Rockweed Gunnel (Apodichthys fucorum) and the plant in with them is a Surf Grass ( Phyllospadix scouleri) which is in the family Zosteraceae. I've had moderate success with it, but still waiting to see how it does long term. I've kept it in a couple tanks in the past but never long enough to really know how well it was doing. Right now I have it in 3 different systems with varying amounts of light flow and water chemistry to see which one does the best. I like this species more than the Eel Grass that occurs out here because the Surf Grass will adhere to rock with crevices and doesn't require the crazy deep mud/sand substrate that the others do.
