Hi all,
Just wanted to post a followup trip from my ichthyocentric nerdventure in January. While we didn't get to spend as much time in freshwater as I had hoped, we did get to see a broad variety of fishes. Thanks to all who offered suggestions for exploring the fishes Florida.

But wait...there's more...
Sampling for non-game fishes...and watching for gators...
And the result was...
...I caught another non-descript livebearer, but it managed to escape prior to photography.
Some intense boat hair, and a clupeid:
