Hey yall,

I don't know that I've ever actually posted an intro. I've been lurking the NANFA forums for quite awhile now. I'm from South Carolina, I currently attend Clemson University as a Wildlife & Fisheries Biology major. I've been in the fishkeeping hobby for roughly 10 years, though I'm just now starting to get into natives and am loving it. Currently I'm not a NANFA member, but that will change soon.

Just wanted to say hello and a thank you to the members of this forum as I've learned a ton just by lurking and I am hoping to learn even more.

Stephen

Welcome Stephen... at Clemson you are rather close to a number of NANFA members... and you should consider joining us when we go "Back to the Swamp" at the end of the month (a collecting trip to the Okefenokee).

Thanks for the welcomes. I'll have to check on the "Back to the Swamp" trip. Sounds like a lot of fun, but I'm not sure I'm going to be available yet. That's right after my spring break so I'm going to have some tests around that time more than likely. Hopefully I can get free though.

I had the pleasure of taking Stephen out this past weekend to see some local fish. It's good to have you around and I look forward to getting out again soon. If you could clear the time, you should really try to make the Okee trip. You are guaranteed to see some incredible fish that we just don't have around SC.

Thanks for the welcomes, and again I appreciate you showing me around the other weekend, Dustin. Definitely looking forward to doing it again. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make the trip at the end of March. I've got an exam Thursday afternoon and then Saturday is my dad's birthday. So those combined with financial limitations are going to prevent me from going this time, I think. I really wish I could though. If things change, I'll let you know.
