Thatpetplace also sells Tom's Dip and Pour, which comes in large (8.75 in x 3.75 in x 5.75 in, $6.79) and regular (7 in x 3 in x 5 in, $4.99): http://www.thatpetpl...imen-containers

Make one! I've put together many glass phototanks and they are easy to assemble. I don't have experience with acrylic, but Uland has a great acrylic instructorial here.
From thatpetplace, the Lee's specimen container. It's a 7 in x 3.25 in x 6 in specimen tank for $9.99: http://www.thatpetpl...ainer-large-7in

Nah. I've just been browsing their website recently looking for stuff to help set up my first marine tank and happened to see those. Deftik asked for a photobox to buy without having to make one, so I linked them to the one I saw recently. That's all.Our new, friendly, and knowledgable ThatPetPlace representative, EricaWieser.

Until my wife broke mine, I was using a 2 1/2 gallon glass tank with the back, bottom & one side paint black.
I was going to say try a pet store and get a 5 or 21/2 gallon tank. I've gone through a couple of critter keeps already but even cracked they tend to hold water so they are good for sampling but not so much for pictures

I liked the 2 1/2 since its smaller, easier to keep them in frame. Wish I'd had it with instead of that plastic tank I had to take when we went sampling. It'd had been easier to get a good pic. Plastic tanks will get foggy from the water deposits.

...and this phot shows it in use as a viewer and also shows the backpack that it lives in when I am out in the stream
