Sorry for yet another post, but I mentioned a couple of questions in another one of my posts on a different topic so I thought it would be a good idea to post the questions in their own topic.
I have been looking into buying a couple of minnow traps but was wondering what size enterance would be good for Sticklebacks, Banded Killifish and Mummichog. I figured a 1" opening would be fine for the Sticklebacks and Banded Killies but not sure how ' thick " the Mummichog get in terms of fitting into the trap.
Thanks for the help.

I have no experience with mummichogs so can't help you there, but you might want to look at local regulations on minnow traps, some states/provinces have specific size requirements for the opening and overall trap size (Minnesota does). I don't know Newfoundland's regulations so it may not apply. I'd just hate to see you build or buy a trap with too large an opening then find out you can't use it.
