Already occuring in the cement pond. Live Action! Fish TV feed to the Lazy Boy Recliner.
Snorkeled the Conasauga... Bama Shiners and Bronze Darters in High Color.
Spring Creek has all the fancy colors parading along with horny headed Stonies and pearlescent Striped Shiners looking male impressive.
Stones are being gathered and excavated in this way to early spring. March... hottest month on record... nation wide. Fish don't check calendars though. Time to go!

We collected silver shiners out of the Flint River outside Huntsville in February and the females already had huge ovaries with well-matured ova. I've never seen local cyprinids that well developed in February. It's a strange season.
