The Hulsey lab (http://www.bio.utk.edu/hulseylab/) is looking for a Masters student interested in conservation and population genetics of desert fish. The project will center on the population genetics of a trophically polymorphic cichlid fish in the Cuatro Cienegas basin in Mexico. Ability to speak Spanish, experience working with several types of genetic markers, and fish husbandry would all be considered a plus. The student should be interested in starting in the Fall of 2012 in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (http://eeb.bio.utk.edu/) at the University of Tennessee.
