I looked over the info for the convention but I still have questions so here we go:
1. Will there be vendors at the convention? If yes, who can be a vendor and how?
2. Will there be a fish sales room?
3. I saw mention of donations for the auction, is that the only form, or will there be a split like 30/70 or 50/50?
4. Will there be a fish show/awards?
2012 Convention info?

Well I should really leave this to Brian or one of the Ohios guys as far as this convention is concerned, but since no one has responded yet, I will answer with what has been true in past conventions.
1) there have usually not been vendor tables
2) there is usually not a fish sales room (although there have been fish in the auction)
3) not sure what you mean here??
4) there has never been a show of any type that I can remember
The convention focuses on presentations, field trips and fellowship... and of course the auction.

The auction is a donation only auction so there is no split. All proceeds from the auction go to NANFA.

Fish sales would likely be illegal, unless you are a licensed breeder/dealer in that state.
The auction is fun, I regret not buying a coppy of Fishes of VA last year.
A fish award/trophy could be fun, but it would be hard for people traveling a long way to not stressed/kill their prized fish and setup.
